The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) has moved its daily local gold price announcements one hour later, from Monday 26 October 2026, in a compliance notice to all licensed gold buyers dated 25 October.
The new times (Ghana time)
- Morning: 10:30 a.m. (previously 9:30 a.m.), following the LBMA AM benchmark.
- Afternoon: 3:00 p.m. (previously 2:00 p.m.), following the LBMA PM benchmark.
The revised schedule runs until 27 March 2027. The previous times resume on 28 March 2027.
Why
The change follows the end of British Summer Time in the United Kingdom, which shifts the time difference between London, where the LBMA benchmarks are set, and Ghana. GoldBod said only the timing changes; other pricing rules and procedures are unaffected, and licensed buyers must align their operations accordingly.
